Our Story
Woodcliffe Woodworks was built on a lifetime of hands-on problem-solving. Founder Darryl Lyall grew up learning the trade from his father, a carpenter, and spent weekends helping with home renovations. As an adult, Darryl and his family put those skills to work—renovating their first home, selling it, and later managing a rental property where his maintenance know-how really took root.
After 20 years as an aircraft maintenance engineer, Darryl chose to turn his passion for building into a full-time path. In September 2018, he earned an Ontario College Diploma (Building Construction Technician, Academic Honours) from Canadore College and launched Woodcliffe Woodworks. Since then, he's been helping homeowners bring renovation ideas to life—combining precision, safety, and craft with friendly, reliable service.
What We Do
Today, Woodcliffe Woodworks focuses on handyman services and residential renovations—from deck builds and repairs to bathroom and basement updates, flooring installation and repairs, drywall, and home additions—alongside select custom woodworking and refinishing projects.
We're proudly Indigenous-owned and operated, WSIB-registered, and insured, serving homeowners in Corbeil, Ontario and surrounding communities with workmanship that's fair, thorough, and built to last.
